Greta and the Giants

This year, our children celebrated World Book Day by reading "Greta and the Giants’ and they took part in lots of different activities about the story.
Some children acted out how people were feeling when the giants were building even more houses. Others thought about how their own carbon footprint could be reduced.  They even wrote letters from the viewpoint of one of the animals in the book.
Tilly said, "I enjoyed using instruments to put some music to the story. We played loudly when the giants appeared.”  Mackenzie added, "We had to think carefully about our use of language when convincing people to help our planet from the effects of global warming and deforestation.”

Congratulations to the following children for winning an achievement award at Tuesday’s assembly.
