Cracking the Code

This term, the children in Year 6 have been making their own computer game using and applying some of the skills that they have learnt from previous year groups.
The children have built on the skills that they have used when working on Scratch, Thunkable and Crumble in order to make their own game.  By using coding, this week, the class has programmed the Kodu to score a point when it eats a special apple!
Isabella said, “I have learnt how to program the Kodu.  I am able to use the combat button to either shoot, stun or squash a character.”  Lucia added, “It can be hard to turn the Kodu and we need to look at how we can specify which direction I want the Kodu to quickly move.”

Congratulations to the following children for winning an achievement award at Tuesday’s assembly.
