Seaside Holidays!

Last week, the children in Year 1 visited Abbey House Museum in Leeds to find out more about what life was like for the Victorians when they went on holiday to the seaside.
The children looked at the clothes that the Victorians might have worn when they went to the seaside and compared it to what they would wear. The class also got the chance to see a real Punch and Judy show before they made their own puppets.
After, Isabelle said, "The costumes that they wore must have been very heavy, especailly when they got wet, because of the the material they were made from.”  Archie added, "We watched the puppet show. Punch was always angry and he kept arguing with Judy!”

Congratulations to the following children for winning an achievement award at Tuesday’s assembly.
