This term, the children in Year 6 have been making their own computer game in preparation for a special visit from a professional game designer.
The children have been using Kodu in their computing lessons to learn the important skills that they will needs in order to make their own game.  By using coding, this week, the class has programmed the Kodu to score a point when it eats a special apple!
Samuel said, “It was difficult at first as some children, including myself, were trying to code the apple as well but this didn’t work!”  Finley added, “Meeting a game designer will be cool as I will find out more about how games are made.  It might make me want this job when I’m older.”

Congratulations to the following children for winning an achievement award at Tuesday’s assembly.
