This term, the children in Year 5 have been learning and remembering more about South America in their geography lessons.
The children have been taking parts in lots of activities to remember the names of the countries in South America as well as playing games on the computer to help them locate these quickly. They also made some 3D homework to help them remember this new knowledge.
After one of the lessons, Chelsea said, “Playing bingo helped as we had to choose different countries on our whiteboard.” Jack added, “When we played some games on the computer it helped us to remember in a different way compared to just looking at an atlas or a map.”
Congratulations to the following children for winning an achievement award at Tuesday’s assembly.
