This term, the children in Years 3 and 4 are having the chance to continue to work with the Leeds United Foundation by taking part in a special after-school club.
As well as improving their football skills, the children are learning about how data analysts improve the performance of different athletes. By using and applying their mathematics skills, the children are interpreting and presenting sports data.
After one of the sessions, Tia-Jae, said, “We have been looking at pictograms to see how many passes different players had done.” Corey added, “We then imagined if we were the manager who we would pick in the team based on who kept possession of the ball the best.”
Congratulations to the following children for winning an achievement award at Tuesday’s assembly.
